Generation of Tunable Phase-locked Mid-infrared Pulses and Its Application for Raman-active Mode Excitation |
要旨 |
There are various interactions between light and matter that occur on an ultrafast timescale of picoseconds or faster. To observe them, a method called subcycle spectroscopy is applied, whose operation involves generation of tunable and phase-locked mid-infrared pulses. In the presentation, I will introduce how such mid-infrared pulses are obtained and how their electric-field waveforms are detected. I will also demonstrate how this method can be applied to provide coherent control of Raman-active modes in diamond. |
