Quantum phenomena induced by Berry curvature in Weyl Semimetals |
要旨 |
In modern condensed matter physics, emergent quantum phenomena in topological materials are being studied intensely. In particular, Weyl semimetals have attracted attention because they host gapless band crossing points in their electronic structure, which behave as monopoles of the emergent magnetic field (or Berry curvature). In this talk, I will discuss the characteristic surface states, Fermi arcs, and transport properties (chiral anomaly) of Weyl semimetals, including the recent topic of a non-linear Hall effects in zero magnetic field. Finally, I will introduce the polar magnetic Weyl semimetal RAlSi (R=rare earth), which is the target material of my research. |
